Playing in the food & lifestyle space, my photography style features a focus on highlighting craft, emotion & authenticity. I enjoy an intuitive approach to my photography which conveys a sense of realism in a world of heavily manicured imagery.

My food photography specifically is centred around capturing the often non-displayed relationship between food and it’s grower, maker, producer. The work aims to transcend the mere aesthetic appeal of food, delving into the emotion, energy, skill that brings it to life. As a Ballymaloe trained cook, it feels important to me to use photography as a tool to harness connection between humans and the food they eat.
